Sub-contracted through NetSurvey to Marin Mätteknik AB, onboard MV Triad and MV Geo Explorer. MMT have a long-term contract to perform high-resolution hydrographic surveys for the Maritime Coastguard Agency, as part of the Civil Hydrography Programme. These surveys are typically conducted over mobile seabed areas which require re-survey on a regular basis, with the data delivered to the UK Hydrographic Office for Admiralty Chart revisions and updates. Both vessels are equipped with Kongsberg EM3002 dual-head multibeam systems, and use Caris HIPS and Fledermaus to process the data. Initially conducted mobilization and acceptance tests onboard both vessels, prior to commencing survey operations.
