Contracted by 4D Ocean to provide a Senior Data Processor/Reports Coordinator for the Equinor Nearshore Pipeline Inspection Survey project. A number of pipeline acoustic surveys were conducted for Equinor as part of their 2019 annual pipeline inspection campaign, utilising 4D Ocean’s ASV Harry together with XOCEAN’s XO-2 and XO-3 ASVs. The very shallow bathymetry presents a number of problems for traditional pipeline inspection platforms, however, the shallow draft and flexible deployment methods of the ASVs allow access to remote or inaccessible locations.
QINSy was utilised for data acquisition, with post-processing performed using Qimera and Eiva NaviModel for surface generation, data visualization and product generation.
